Hotelwithheart.com-HWH Donates SGD100 to Victim of MRT Accident.

SINGAPORE, 10 May 2011 --- Last April 3, 2011, A 14 year old Thai student, Peneakchanasak Nitcharee lost both of her legs during a train accident at Ang Mo Kio MRT Station. Nitcharee, went to Singapore because she wanted to study English. "She is a good kid, not the playful sort..." Said Mrs Ng, her guardian. She agreed to take Nitcharee in because she is, "obedient, polite and kind."

Nitcharee was on her way to go out with her friends when she fell off the train platform and was hit by the oncoming train. The accident crushed both of her legs; one leg was instantly severed while the other had to be amputated later in the hospital.

Despite all this Nitcharee remained optimistic about her future and she is still determined to either be a doctor or a lawyer. When asked why, she said "I like it very much. I want to help people."
