About Roslin Orphanage
Roslin Orphanage was started in 1999 by Budi Soehardi and family during an unplanned trip to the East Timor refugee camps. After multiple trips to the refugee camps, they decided to look after some of the abandoned babies in a rented house at Kupang City. After feeling the need of having their own place, they decided to build an orphanage of their own. It was officially opened by the Province Governor Alexander Piet Tallo in April 6th 2002.
