It’s raining cats and dogs in the Lion City. There is no sign that the rain will stop soon. Your outdoor tour is canceled. You are stuck in your hotel room, left with nothing to do. Does this mean that your Singapore travel experience will be associated with boredom?
Definitely not! There are a number of things you can do while staying at Singapore hotels. Here are some activities you could explore while staying at your favorite Singapore hotel:
Attend hotel events. Sometimes, Singapore hotels host events like concerts, seminars, or exhibits. Ask the front desk, if it’s open to the public or hotel guests.
Enjoy the seafood buffets at the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia.
Eat at the hotel’s restaurant. Some luxury hotels in Singapore house award-wining restaurants or chefs. You would surely have a happy tummy after feasting on the restaurant’s specialties. You may chance upon other interesting people you could chat with.

Get healthy. Go to the gym, the pool, or the spa and pamper yourself You deserve it!
Watch TV while inside your room. Watch TV or a movie, but see to it that you check the rates first before you push that remote button. Hotels have a different rate for pay per view movies. Watching local channels however, is free.
Take a relaxing bath in your own room. If you don’t want to go to the spa, fill up your tub with warm water and bubbles. Play some music or read a good book while you’re soaked in the tub.
Host a room party. If you have friends in other rooms, invite them to your room and have a party. Just be careful not to break anything!
Tinker with your laptop. Most Singapore hotels offer free Wi-Fi access. Chat with your friends, posts tweets, or update your Facebook status anytime. Moreover, you could upload your latest travel photo ASAP>
Sleep. It is always great to sleep during rainy days. Furthermore, sleep is a necessity most of us are deprived of during work days. This is your opportunity to sleep all day!
You’ll never know when the rain would fall. If getting soaked under the rain is not your thing, it’s best to think of things you could do while in your hotel room. Refuse to associate your Singapore travel experience with the word boring. Plan ahead and know amenities found in Singapore hotels.
