Best Time For Singapore Travel

Singapore travel can be just as awesome anytime of the year. Although the climate is hot and wet throughout the year, anytime is a great time to visit Singapore. If you want to visit on cooler months, go during November to early March when it is rainy. If you prefer warmer and drier months, February, June or July are the best. Just remember to always have an umbrella with you as Singapore has no distinct climate.

Vibrant Chinatown even becomes more colourful and livelier during Chinese New Year.

Singapore travel can also be educational as you will learn about different cultures. Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, and other non-religious festivals are celebrated in this multicultural city state. The Food Festival and the Festival of the Hungry Ghosts are celebrated in July. The Mid-Autumn Festival, with its lanterns and mooncakes, are celebrated during September or October.

Excitement awakens in Chinatown during the middle of January and February. The Chinese New Year celebration in Singapore lasts for fifteen days, and you will see the traditional lion dance and costumes liven up the streets. Most shops also close during Muslim and Hindu Holidays in certain areas of Singapore like Geylang Serai and Little India. During Christmas, expect Orchard Road to be the most exciting place.

In Singapore, if a holiday falls on a Sunday, Monday will also be a holiday.
