NCCA's bracket expansion can rake in more money for hotels.
There’s a huge talk surrounding NCAA lately as moves to expand its current team brackets from 65 to 96 gets mixed reactions from college basketball fans, coaches and teams. Some say it would give other states like Michigan and Northwestern some consideration. Others say they like the current tight bracket as it is, because getting more teams to play might just lose the association’s lustre for having allowed just about anyone who can dribble and shoot play basketball, and call it college basketball. The debates, though, halt at a common ground even for hotels: money.
